Do you know of any online dental insurance or discount plans?

Bo,

Discount dental plans are not a Scam....There are TONS of dentists in the Kansas City area that take them.

Why wouldn't a dentist take a discount off of their prices? They do it every day with traditional insurance....but then they have to wait to get paid! And insurance can deny payments as well. Not to mention doctors/dentists hate the insurance industry because every HMO out there thinks that the MD stands for "meddling dictator" instead of Medical Doctor. They like to butt in and tell a doctor that a procedure isn't necessary just so they don't have to pay it....they also like to constantly raise their premiums so that most red-blooded Americans can't afford to carry anything.

I guess that having a whole lot of people on the system would make the discount plan nay-sayers happy,,,,but I would rather see people help themselves in this world!

Bo....you were given a link by a lady named Michelle. She forgot to include the http:// in front of her URL so email her if you can't get her address to work. She is offering the best thing out there.

Good luck my friend!

Reply:Online discount plans are often a scam. Very few dentists will work for half of their normal fees.

Delta Dental in Washington state and a few others are now offering a program called "Patient Direct Access." It works in a similar way, except you are dealing with a well-esablished company who does not do business as work-at-home multi-level marketing scheme. At least Delta is a regulated business.
