I'm living in Virginia and i want a good dental plan.
I was searching online and went to this website dentalplan.com..
are those plans trustful? (found Aetna Dental Access, GE Wellness plan, patriot plan, etc)
Good dental plan?
The easiest ones to find dentist that take it would be Delta dental and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. However, dental insurance has become a full blown rip off. Unless you have a family, it is usually not worth it. Add up the yearly cost for the policy and compare this to the yearly maximum payout of the policy. If that total is anywhere close, it is probably not worth it. Keep in mind dental insurance doesn't pay 100% on most things so you are paying them this amount and then paying some more out of your pocket for your part. Many times saving the money is better.
Reply:there are so many dental plans, it is hard to list. do you have a dentist that you love? if so, call them and ask which dental plans they accept. some dental plans may look good, but very few dentists actually accept them so be careful. also, look at what each of them cover. if you have been blessed with great teeth, you will need more preventitive coverage than restorative. and vice versa. that way less comes out of your pocket.
