What are names of major Dental Plans?

I am looking to purchase dental insurance for my family because the one I have now sucks. I am trying to find names of major dental insurance companies to find the best plan for my family.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What are names of major Dental Plans?
I sell dental plans for a living and I can tell you that finding individual dental insurance coverage is extremely costly. The most popular one is Delta dental plan has so many people complain about that program I cannot recommend it. You might try "einsurance.com" but just remember that some companies trick you into getting their plan for a very low fee for the first year followed by a much higher rate after that because the policy doesn't pay for any dental work for the first 6-12 months.

However, to answer your question about major dental plans, I cont suggest you contact National Association of Dental Plans (http://www.nadp.org) for lists of reputable companies allowed to practice in your state.

You might also look into purchasing was known as a "discount dental plan" for your family. These plans have their limits, to be sure, but they will usually save you a lot of money especially if you have kids that need regular checkups and teeth cleanings. To that end, I recommend you read my web site (http://www.discountdental4u.net) because I have no bias as to which discount plan you may or may not purchase.
Reply:The most common dental plans that I see are Delta, cigna, aetna, Metlife and Guardian PPO's.

If you choose any dental plan, do NOT choose DMO plans because the providers that accept these plans are usually mill-type practices and are more than likely not extremely thorough. (these plans pay per patient and it benefits the office for you and your family NOT to show up to the office, so they will try to shoo you away!!!)
Reply:If you have providers in your area, the eHealthPlus

membership usually saves you the most money bottom line.

Search by full address or by zip code.
