I've never even had a cavity before but my tooth hurts when i bite down and I'm pretty sure it's a cavity. I have a great new dental plan but it doesn't go into affect for another whole month. What should I do? Should I pay the whole amount for the cavity filling or whatever...or should I tough it out? I'm pretty sure you're supposed to get them taken care of or they get a lot worse, right?
I think I have a cavity but my new dental plan doesn't start until November 1...?
Go to the pharmacy like cvs they sell a product i can't remember the name of it but its used to fill in the hole inside your tooth just temporarily until you go to the dentist
Reply:Nurse it along with Hydrogen Peroxide, use instructions on the bottle, till your insurance takes affect.
Reply:You can wait it out, it will be sore but alot cheaper.
Reply:It will be fine, just brush regularly, floss, and mouth wash.
If the cavity isn't that bad then it shouldn't get all that worse in one month. Just take good care of your mouth and you definitely can wait it out.
Reply:Just get it filled, because it doesn't cost much!
Reply:Until your plan kicks in, You're
going to have to dig in your pocket
do it now, before the infection spreads
