Dental question?

I just broke a piece off of my tooth.. I had a dental plan, how much do you think it will cost to repair it?

I won't need a rrot canal, I had one before on this tooth, probably the filling will need to be changed, and the outer part that broke..

Anyone have an estimate,or an idea about the costs?

Thanks a lot.

Dental question?
A tooth that has had a root canal will require a crown and that should have been recommended to you when it was done. Crowns are costing $700-1000 or maybe more in some areas. If your insurance covers like many do....they will pay half or maybe alittle bit more....50%/80%. You could ask someone at your work that knows about your insurance coverage.
Reply:Really depends on your insurance coverage. It will probably need to be bonded...which is usually a cosmetic procedure. However, since this is considered necessary, insurance should take care of a good portion of it.

I am getting my front 4 teeth bonded for cosmetic reasons and its costing me $540 for the whole procedure....so, I am assuming it won't be too much
Reply:that has happened to me before and it isn't much.. and you don't have to get a cosmetic procedure. oh and i too have had a root canal on the tooth i chipped
Reply:Not even your dentist could guess with out an exam!! Doc W
